We Did It!

On October 15, 2011, we tied the knot. Then after an incredible honeymoon, an insane amount of packing, and a lot of love from our friends and family, we finally boarded the plane to our new home for the next two years: Hamburg, Germany.

We’re still getting settled and running around – Ken is in San Fran right now working with his new employer, DESY, on the synchrotron, and I am in Florida basking in sun to store up for the next few months. But soon we will begin to fill this blog with our adventures, misadventures, stories and insights about Hamburg, Germany, German food, public transportation, football/soccer, flamekuchen, a four-story walkup and much more. Stay tuned…. the fun is just beginning!
